Next, we'll fly to a resort on the Red Sea where we’ll have the special opportunity to swim with dolphins and to snorkel on colorful coral reefs. We’ll enjoy a leisurely pace with time to luxuriate in healing spa treatments along the way. We'll cruise the Nile visiting magnificent temples. Come experience the grandeur of ancient Egypt with its exotic dancing, sacred potions, and the spice of magical nights.

Sunday, September 8: International departure from home city. Overnight in the air.
Monday, September 9: *D International flights arrive in Cairo. You will be met by our Egyptian hospitality personnel. Transfer to meet the group at Mena House Hotel, our 5-Star luxury hotel in the shadow of the Great Pyramid where we will spend 2 nights. Dinner at the hotel. Sweet dreams in the energy of the pyramids.
Tuesday, September 10: B-D Buffet breakfast at the hotel overlooking the Great Pyramid. Visit the Giza Plateau and see evidence of high technology. Sunset horse or camel ride on the desert in view of the pyramids at Panorama. Catered dinner, Dancing Horse Party, and belly dance show in a sultan's tent on site. Overnight at Mena House.
Wednesday, September 11: B-D Breakfast at the hotel. Checkout from Mena House. Excursion to visit the Egyptian Museum. transfer to the Cairo Airport to board your flight to Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. Check-in to the spectacular 5-Star Intercontinental Palace Port Ghaleb Resort with the Six Senses Spa. Afternoon Aromatherapy Chakra Oils Workshop by Casey Mulcaster of Amarna Holistic Center who will be traveling with us. We'll have access to pure essential oils distilled in Egypt and you'll have the opportunity to create aromatic blends from ancient recipes utilized by the ancient Egyptians in their healing modalities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Thursday, September 12: B-D Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Half day excursion to swim with the dolphins. Marsa Alam has one of the most consistent dolphin habitats on the Red Sea and in the world called Dolphin House on Samadai Reef which has had 7 species of dolphins as long-term residents. We are most likely to see Bottlenose Dolphins, Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, and Spinner Dolphins. When we return to the resort, we'll have a luxurious afternoon and time to enjoy swimming and spa treatments. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Friday, September 13: B-D Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Free day at the palace resort to swim, snorkel, or dive at the Red Sea's coral reef teaming with colourful fish. Relax and enjoy holistic treatments choosing Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Sekhem ancient Egyptian tradition, or aromatherapy by appointment with Casey. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Saturday, September 14: B-D Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. Check out of palace hotel. Afternoon Transfer to the airport to board our flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, we'll connect to board our flight to Luxor. When we arrive in Luxor, we will be met by hospitality personnel and transferred to the 5-Star Maritime: Jolie-Ville Resort on King's Island where we will spend 2 nights. The resort is on a gorgeous private island on the Nile which is a nature sanctuary. The grounds are spectacular with delightful gardens teaming with birds and gorgeous swimming pools . After check-in, you’ll have time for a swim. Exotic buffet dinner at the resort watching traditional feluccas glide on the Nile. Overnight at the resort.
Sunday, September 15: B-D Buffet breakfast in the outdoor restaurant at the resort. Free morning and afternoon to enjoy the resort and relax with spa treatments. We'll have an aromatherapy blending workshop and learn about the pure essential oils that relate to the 7 chakras as they did in ancient Egypt. As well, we'll have a session in the garden learning about exotic spices, potions, and the magic of blue lotus as was used by the ancient Egyptians. Dinner at the resort at the charming outdoor dining room along the Nile. Evening visit to the spectacular Temple of Luxor which is beautifully lit at night. Schwaller de Lubiz called the Luxor Temple the Temple of Man since the Hypostyle Halls in the temple correspond to the cavities in the human body. We'll do a walking meditation along part of the Avenue of the Sphinxes which spans 3 kilometres all the way from the Karnak Temple to the Luxor Temple with 2000 sphinxes currently being restored. We'll walk silently through the temple into the Holy of Holies at the back of the temple which corresponds to the pineal gland in the human body. Overnight at the resort. Sweet dreams on the shores of the Nile.
Monday, September 16: B-L-D Buffet breakfast by the Nile at the resort. Check out from the resort. We’ll take a day trip on our air conditioned coach across the lush farm land to the fantastic Temple of Seti I at Abydos where the images of the curious flying objects are found. Here we'll see the infamous Kings List. As well, there are rooms of exquisite frescos with gorgeous original color telling a story of a revived spirituality from the 19th Dynasty. We’ll also visit the ancient and mysterious Osirion where several Flowers of Life are located. Then, we'll continue to the Temple of Hathor at Dendera where the ceiling of the enormous First Hypostyle Hall has been recently cleaned revealing curious star maps and strange half-animal half-human beings. At Dendera, there is an even more ancient temple below the ground. In the crypts, we’ll see odd ancient devices resembling light bulbs. We’ll pass by the village where the Nag Hamadi ancient scrolls were found in 1945 written in the voice of the Divine Feminine. When we arrive back in Luxor, we'll board our 5-Star Deluxe cruise ship, the M/S Sonesta St George for our 4-night Nile cruise. Dinner and overnight on board.
Tuesday, September 17: B-L-D Buffet breakfast on board. Morning visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut with its Shrines to Hathor and Anubis and colorful frescos depicting Hatshepsut's infamous expedition to the Land of Punt (Ethiopia) where exotic treasures and myrrh trees were traded. Lunch on board. Set sail in the afternoon toward the Esna Lock. Cross the lock. Relax by the pool on the upper deck as you cruise up the Nile observing the peaceful life of rural farmers and fishermen. Watch the sunset and the glistening waters of the Nile while tea and cake is served on the upper deck. Dinner and overnight on board as we sail to Edfu.
Wednesday, September 18: B-L-D Buffet breakfast on board. Docked at Edfu, we will be picked up at the boat and ride in charming horse-drawn carriages called kaleshes to visit the Temple of Horus. This is where the aromatherapy recipes were archived and healing potions were made. We'll see the standing sarcohagus where ancient rituals were performed in pairs. Lunch on board. Leisurely afternoon sailing down the Nile. Afternoon tea on the upper deck. After we get back on the boat, we'll dress up in Egyptian galabeyas for an elegant dinner and our Come as You Were party. Special evening and overnight on board.
Thursday, September 19: B-L-D Buffet breakfast on board. Lunch on board. Leisurely afternoon sailing down the Nile. As the sun sets, we’ll see the spectacular Kom Ombo Temple appear majestically on the shores of the Nile. Visit the temple where priests and priestesses in training did initiations to conquer their fears. Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Aswan. After lunch on board while docked in Aswan, we'll take a short drive near the Old Dam along the shores of the Nile where we'll take a small boat to the Island of Philae. Visit the pristine Temple of Isis nestled in a garden surrounded by Nile waters. Here the goddesses Isis and Hathor each have their own temples. Afternoon sail on a traditional felucca sailboat around the islands. Being directly on the Nile is enchanting. Dinner and overnight on board.
Friday, September 20: B-D Buffet breakfast on board docked in Aswan. Check out from the cruise. Transfer to the Aswan Airport to board our flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, we'll be transfered back to Mena House Hotel. Farewell dinner at the hotel beside the Great Pyramid. The journey ends, the integration begins.....
Saturday, September 21: B Buffet breakfast in the shadow of the Great Pyramid. Transfer to Cairo Airport for final departure or to join an Extension.
